Mississauga Women's Fitness Camp
"I just wanted to let you know that the women of the Mississauga Women's Fitness Camp love using the Lebert Equalizers. They are able to get fun and challenging workouts while working out in the great outdoors. Okay, maybe they don't think they're fun at the time, but they do later when they realize what great results they are getting. I like them too because my clients can perform many different exercises with them and best of all, they are lightweight and very easily transportable in my small car. I can actually fit 6 Equalizers quite comfortably in the trunk of my car. That's a big plus for me for sure. Thanks for producing such a great product. Bodies are changing because of your creativity."David Kittner, Women's Fitness Camp Coach, Mississauga Women's Fitness Camp
Zak Longo – Actor
"My name is Zak Longo, I am a young actor currently living in Toronto . As an actor, your body is your tool and it is important to be in peak physical condition. I have the privilege of working with Marc Lebert and the EQ on a weekly basis. Even when I am not training with Marc, I always incorporate the Equalizer into every work out to stay in shape for the camera. I have used alot of different equipment over the years for hockey, soccer, and even acting. For the best results the Lebert Equalizer is definitely my favorite exercise tool." Zak as appeared in movies such as Wisegal with Alyssa Milano and James Caan.
Robert Foster – President, Trainers on Site
"The Lebert Equalizer is something special. The moment I was introduced to the product I was skeptical. I thought 'Yellow Bars, come on'. Then Marc gave me a quick demo. WOW, I was blown away. I told him, 'I gotta have 1'. I have been using them in my In-Home Personal Training business ever since. Group classes and 1 on 1 PT. In my line of work, we have to bring the Gym to the client. The EQ allows my team to do that. Heck, you can do Pull-ups, Plyometrics, Dips, Push-ups, 1 legged Squats and more. Best of all, it even fits in my Trainers Smart cars. Portable, mobile, sturdy, and multi-useful. I recommend all of my Trainers On Site Franchisee's to get a pair. I love using my Lebert Equalizers. 'Those Cool Yellow Bars'."Robert Foster, www.trainersonsite.com
Kathy Kaehler, Nationally recognized fitness expert and celebrity trainer
"Don't let the name fool you. The Equalizer bars are a great addition to your workout. With these bars you can use your bodyweight as resistance and hit every body part. I have loved them so much that I put them on a segment that I did for the new hot show 'Keeping up with the Kardashians'. Lunges, tricep dips, pushups, hop overs, body pulls are just a few of my favorites. They are easy to store in the closet. I highly recommend getting the bars to tighten, tone and shape up your body.. " Kathy Kaehler, www.kathykaehlerfitness.com.
Kristie J., Teacher
"I teach middle school physical education in Park Ridge, IL. I saw the Equalizer in an article in the Chicago Tribune rating new equipment, it didn't have any cons written against it, showed it to one of my co workers who came from the corporate fitness world, he went to your web site to investigate and wha-la we are now using your Equalizer as a station in our fitness center. Thank you for using actual people photos and not drawings for your poster which is mounted on the wall as a reference for the students."
Marshall Tully, Owner of Full Blast Personal Training
“It was uncanny timing when I was introduced to Marc Lebert and the Equalizer. A nasty case of chronic elbow tendonitis had recently become so painful, that heavy bench pressing was no longer an option. I was looking for new and pain-free variations to work my upper body using bodyweight-only movements, and the Equalizer delivered beautifully. Countless challenging variations on the traditional push-up movement are possible with the Equalizer, whether you're a big guy who can bench three or four plates per side, or a beginner who's still trying to squeeze out that first single push-up on your toes. It's aIso a versatile tool for working the upper back muscles at home, an area of the body that's traditionally been problematic to train without access to specific gym equipment. I'm very impressed with the engineering Marc and his team have put into the Equalizer- regardless of a person's height or weight, it's virtually impossible to tip these things over. It's a seemingly primitive piece of equipment, but the more I use it, it's clear that a lot of ingenuity and analysis has gone into it. The Equalizer has quickly become an integral part of my training routine, and the training of all of my clients.” Marshall Tully, NSCA-CPT. Marshall is the owner of Toronto's premier private training studio, Full Blast Personal Training. His upcoming nutrition and training book, Muscle Masala, hits the stores in early 2008.

"I have only been working with the Equalizer for a few short weeks and already I am seeing and feeling the upper body strengthening effects it has been having using my own body resistance. The gymnastic athletes that I am working with have had a surprising benefit from the Equalizer's unique and easy-to-transport properties. Our core and internal focus of where our body's center of balance is has been dramatically increased. Functional strength and dynamic upper body power is just what we needed to bring our performances above and beyond our fellow athletes in Canada. I feel that we will continue to dominate in our sports with tools like this one." Susan Clark, Senior Account Executive: "The Equalizer has been a great time saving-hard workout that I can fit into my busy schedule. My very hectic schedule of looking after an active 4 year old and balancing a sales career with lots of travel requires that I find time to fit in workouts. I will often take 15 minutes out of my day to work my triceps, do pull ups and push ups with my Equalizer in a mini circuit. Thanks to the Equalizer I can cross train and keep in shape!"
Jill Maslanka, Field Manager: I am a 41 year old sales person and have been physically active for many years with a focus on long distance running for the past 5 years with no weight training. I qualified for and completed the Boston Marathon in 2001. I started weekly Equalizer classes in the summer of 2005 for just 3 months and found that my upper body strength increased significantly - and improved definition. Many friends and colleagues remarked! I would highly recommend the Equalizer as a part of anyone’s weekly workouts. It's the simplest, cheapest and quickest way to increase upper body strength in any location! Perfect for home use!
Frank Bellisimo, Executive working out for fitness, get buff and improve golf game. “I love the Equalizer because it always feels like I got a great workout- I feel it during and even more the day after!”
Michell Pembry. “Wow! A 2-1/2 year old and a 6 month old baby, a husband, a sales career and a high-maintenance dog, you'd think I have enough exercise right there! I like the Equalizer because of it's versatily..you can use it to work many parts of your body..and hard! From hurdles to pushups to triceps (ouch!) it's a great piece of equipment with never-ending ways to use it!”
Courtney Condie - 3rd Degree Black Belt
"I have been using the Equalizers for about 2 years now. I work out on them 2 -3 times a week. They are very compact, creating easy storage. I like them because you are able to do a full body work out, working both balance and strength. You get a good exercise from them, working your whole body and are able to tone yourself with using your own body weight. The toughest exercise would have to be the chin ups, with the ball underneath your feet, working both your balance and strength. My favourite exercise is when you are in push up position, raise your knee up to your chest, and then twist to one side then the other. I would recommend the equalizers to everyone. There are multiple exercises that work different parts or your body, and the best part is that you can do a full body workout in ½ hour. They even have exercises at varying levels to challenge everyone. I use them to improve my physical and core skills in Taekwondo and to improve my overall personal fitness. Courtney Condie 3rd Degree Black Belt Taekwondo, 2006: Junior Pan-Am Champion (Gold), Senior US Open Bronze Medalist, Senior Provincial Bronze Medalist, 2005/03/01: 3 Time Junior National Champion, 2002: US Open Junior Gold Medalist, 2006 - 1999: 8 Time Junior Provincial Champion
Shannon Condie - 4th Degree Black Belt
"I have been using the Equalizer for a year, once every other day. They work the whole body using your own body weight. The Equalizer is also easy to use with other equipment like the big ball, for added Core training. They are really easy to store and move around. I also like it because it doesn't take much time to do; there are no line ups for other equipment and no need to go to the gym every night. When I'm busy then I just go down stairs and take them out and do a full body workout in less time then it takes to drive somewhere. So it definitely saves on time. The benefits for me while using the Equalizers are that they provide a fun and safe way to strengthen and power my body.
- Toughest Exercise: "Running Person" where you hold yourself up and slowly run on the spot. Lots of abs!
- Favourite Exercise: Doing them as a group exercise with others
I would definitely recommend this to others as it is very effective in optimizing one's physical health and body appearance, and after completing a session, you feel great about being active. It only takes about 20 minutes out of your schedule, and it's a great way to help take any tension out of your day. I use the Equalizers as support training for Taekwondo which helps give me that competitive edge. Shannon is a 4th Degree Black Belt, 2006 U.S. Open Bronze medal winner, 2004/05/06 Olympic Carded Athlete, 2005 Top 16 World Championships Madrid, Spain, 2005 Paris International Open Gold medal, 2004 Senior Pan-Am Games Bronze medal, Santo Domingo, DR, 2002/04/05 Senior National Champion, 2002/03/04/05/06 Senior Provincial Champion"
Susanna de Beer, CFT, MTCP, Licensed Wellness Coach
"I have only owned the Equalizer for just over a week and have already implemented it in both of my circuit training classes, as well as my parent and youth classes in my private rural community fitness studio. My clients love it! There are so many exercises you can do with this simple piece of equipment, and best of all the range of difficulty is great! This will allow for a great progression for my clients as well as myself. The portability is great, allowing me to take them outside when I train them outdoors in good weather months. I am looking forward to seeing all the progressions my clients will be going through at improving their balance and strength - which is a key goal my clients have." Ross O'Donnell, President, Fitness Kickboxing Canada Inc.
"Since being introduced to the Equalizer by Marc Lebert, we have incorporated them into our kickboxing program. Having our students perform kicks over the Equalizer has drastically improved form and technique by requiring extension and retraction without allowing the leg to drop during kick drills. It has been well received by our students as a fresh innovative learning tool that has enhanced strength and conditioning as well. We were so impressed that we introduced them as a part of our Can-Fit-Pro accredited Continuing Education Credit workshops for Personal Trainers and Fitness Instructors." Ross O'Donnell, President. Fitness Kickboxing Canada Inc.
Lori Kirwan, PhD Exercise Physiology, Group Exercise Manager and Instructor
"My experience with the Equalizer is that it's taken the intensity of my classes up a notch. It's given me tons of variety and new exercises to work with. It's what we were looking for to promote group exercise programs and to get people to come out and participate in a program. As a fitness instructor and coordinator of a group exercise program, I also like the fact that they stack and are easily put aside when they are not being used." Lori Kirwan, phD Exercise Physiology, Group Exercise Manager and Instructor, free-lance writer in the field of fitness and nutrition.
Brigitte Blais, Fitness Model, Competitor:
"I love my Lebert Equalizer! Why? When I’m short on time, it gives me the opportunity to challenge my entire body into a 20min workout! By doing circuit training, you maintain an elevated heart rate that keeps you burning calories to a greater range. I have found the Equalizer very useful for balance training and stretching as well. It is very versatile and will give you the results you want." Brigitte Blais, Can Fit-Pro Nutrition and Wellness Specialist, Personal Trainer & Fitness instructor, Fitness Model and Fitness routine competitor.www.coolfitness.ca
Dale Mitchell, OHL Oshawa Generals:
"I play Hockey for the Oshawa Generals. I enjoy using the Equalizer because it is a simple design that can put you through a great workout. The Equalizer is excellent for making your legs stronger with the many different types of squats you are able to do. Not only working the legs, the Equalizer can build the upper body without needing a bar from a gym! The Equalizer can be turned into a simple portable chin up bar that will work those arms and that chest...solid. After using the Equalizer, I would recommend this to anyone that is looking to get stronger and in shape."Dale Mitchell, Oshawa Generals, Ontario Hockey League, draft pick of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Jason Downey, Pro Fitness Model, Competitor:
"Before every competition or contest, you will see guys/girls doing an assortment of exercises to 'pump up'. In most cases, competitors have to get creative with their surroundings in order to find different exercises to attain that pumped look. However, I've found one simple answer to this - It's easy, convenient and best of all, extremely effective - It's called the Equalizer. I love using the Equalizer before my competitions. It allows me to get that pump and the look I need before I go out in front of thousands of people. Without the Equalizer, I would be stuck doing push-ups for hours trying to get what the Equalizer does in minutes. I always get that full bodied pump before each show with the Equalizer and am always confident about the look I need and desire. Now I will take my Equalizer with me everywhere so I can hit every muscle I want with ease, while watching my competitors struggling on the floor doing push-ups. The Equalizer has helped me attain the look I want, and the convenience of it all is just remarkable." Jason Downey, Pro Fitness Model/Competitive Bodybuilder
Lance Parvin, ISSA & ACE certified trainer, Owner of Adult NR Trainers
"The Equalizer is a revolutionary piece of equipment that is lightweight, affordable, and completely mobile. This product is great for total body conditioning and flexibility. I use the Equalizer in my boot camp classes, personal training sessions, and also integrate it into my own fitness program. What I love about this product is you can simplify complex movements or increase the difficulty of basic exercises. The Equalizer is a must for any fitness facility." Cardio-Core Boot Camps, Ontario
Allyson and I have been using the Lebert Equalizer in our Bootcamp program for the past 7 months. I can’t say enough about this product. Coming from an extensive weight training, and active sport background, I find that all fitness levels benefit from the equalizer and especially from the workouts and exercises Marc has designed. The participants in our classes love using the equalizer and the results have been accelerated ever since we started using them . If you are looking to integrate circuits, intervals, stretching, flexibility, weight resistance, agility, and sport specific training to your program then look no further. All of Cardio –Core Bootcamps in Ontario now use the Lebert Equalizer and they are a big reason why our Bootcamp workouts are raising the bar. The best thing about this product is the ease at which you can modify and advance the exercise to suit all fitness levels. We eagerly await the next Lebert Fitness product. Ben Spooner, Group Fitness Instructor, 3rd degree TKD
I just received your 'thank you email' for my recent purchase of the Equalizer. To be honest I'm not sure why I took so long ordering one, I've seen it for the past couple years in the Twist Conditioning Catalogue, and Peter Estabrooks did a good article on it in the Calgary Herald some time back. I've been meaning to buy it forever. I bought the product primarily because I don't have a chin up bar in my basement and was having trouble working my lats in my home gym. Certainly the Equalizer eliminates this problem! I am extremely impressed with the product and played around on it all weekend. I am a group fitness instructor at several gyms throughout Calgary. As well I have an extensive martial arts background (3rd degree black belt in TKD, kickboxed with Mike Miles for years, etc). My strength in group X classes is mixing unique martial arts drills in with traditional exercises. No matter what style of class I teach I always try to put the participants through a full body workout. My motto is that after class you'll feel as though you've just fallen down a long flight of stairs. Everything will hurt! You guys have already come up with dozens of wicked drills for the Equalizer. At the moment I don't have a lot to add to the repertoire already on your web page other than a good combo I did on Sunday which still has me sore, which is simply slow transitions from push up to pike to dip, over and over. I keep extending the length I hold the pike for, basically until I can't hold it anymore. I would love to teach Equalizer classes at the YMCA. The beauty of this device is I could teach 10 classes in a row and have each of them different. Please keep pushing this program!
Don Gauvreau, National-Level Bodybuilder
"I recently took the Equalizer Athletic Training Course with Marc and I must say it was an eye-opening experience. The variety of exercises he took us through was absolutely amazing! The Equalizer is one piece of training equipment that everyone can greatly benefit from - no matter what level you're at. Being a competitive athlete myself, I need to use the most effective training methods and in a very short time I've already seen some awesome results using the Equalizer!"

Dr. Robert Ing, Forensic Intelligence Specialist:
"I have been personally using the Lebert Equalizer and have found it to be both practical and versatile. The number of exercises and range of workouts you can do with the Equalizer makes it a must have for anyone who needs a total workout at home, on a busy schedule with not a lot of space or cash to devote to exercise equipment. It's simple and affordable. Once I got the Equalizer in my home, I found that it did not take long before my daughter, an avid gymnast starting using it as well. When I first heard about the Equalizer, I was ready to dismiss it with all those poorly made, high priced exercise equipment gimmicks that promise results but deliver very little while just taking up space. The Equalizer is a genuine, affordable, well made piece of exercise equipment and it really does give you a workout. If you are serious about getting fit at home, the Equalizer is the one piece of equipment you should consider."

Dorothy Waxman, Occupational Therapist:
"The Equalizer has many applications, as shown in the web site. There is appeal for any age, especially when they see how much fun it is to challenge oneself on one simple piece of equipment! The diameter of the tube is comfortably grasped by men and women. In addition, the older population, many of whom have some difficulty to maintain or recover their balance, find the Equalizer to be most useful. We can practice seated balance activities on the stability ball, at a wall, (progressively moving away), with the Equalizers on either side. The yellow colour is easily seen in the client's peripheral vision, as are the black grips, and the Fitness Professional can observe the client, or add external stimuli (like a ball toss), once the client is comfortable with having the Equalizer handy. The Equalizer has more than just a one-point reference to access for stabilization. The client can also stand between the Equalizers, on the floor, or on a selection of stability-challenging options (rolled towel foam pad, etc.)" Dorothy Waxman, Dip. O.T. (Occupational Therapist). Joey de Los Reyes, Kombat Arts Training Academy
"When I first saw the Equalizer I could not believe it because I was looking for a set of dip bars for the gym! The product is a must have for any martial arts club because it covers all the basic strength training exercises and is unobtrusive. I use it all the time and it is great addition to our training facility!” Joey de Los Reyes, Kombat Arts Training Academy.Joey is the Program Director of the Kombat Arts Training Academy. Mike Wiebe, Professional Long Driver
"The Equalizer is definitely helping me with my power. I always get a great muscle pump from using it. Anyone who knows anything about training knows the value and efficiency of using your own body weight and the Equalizer helps you do that better than any other piece of equipment I've ever used." "The Equalizer has been a fantastic addition for the rehabilitation and strengthening of patients. In particular, the ability to adjust one's own body-weight when performing leg exercises makes the product the ultimate in user variability. A great rehab tool."
